We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence (JMAI) has achieved its 2025 CiteScore: 4.0, ranking 153 out of 466 journals in the Medicine (miscellaneous) category and 235 out of 570 journals in the Artificial Intelligence category. This milestone underscores our ongoing commitment to publishing impactful research in the field.

Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence Adopts Monthly Frequency from January 2026

To better serve the global community and accommodate a rising volume of high-quality submissions, Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence will transition from quarterly to monthly publication, effective January 2026.

JMAI is officially indexed by Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)

On 28 May, 2025, the editorial office of the Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence (JMAI) officially received confirmation that the journal has met all selection criteria for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). Articles published in JMAI after 2023, beginning with Volume 6(1), will be included in this prestigious database.

AME and Wolters Kluwer aim to expand access to global medical research through new collaboration

The agreement broadens the reach of nearly 50 Open Access titles, contributing globally to over 5,000 articles

October 2, 2025 — Wolters Kluwer Health announced a new collaboration with AME Publishing Company, an Open Access publisher specializing in medical journals and books, headquartered in Hong Kong, China.
